Playa de Las Teresitas

The Playa de Las Teresitas is a beach in the village of San Andrés municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Tenerife (Spain).

Until its conversion was divided into three distinct parts that had different names: After the Arena which was the original, The Moors, in the middle and finally the area bounded by the ravine of Las Teresas. On the black sand beach, threw white sand brought from the Sahara desert, and constructed a breakwater to prevent waves. It is one of the most important beaches of the Canary Islands.
